DESERTERS FROM MERCHANT VESSELS.
Deserted on the 3rd March, 1864, from the British brig Ismyr, lying in Dunedin Bay.
Owen Smith, cook and steward, 25 years old 5 feet 6 inches high, stout build, fair complexion, dark hair, whiskers and moustache, smart appearance, dressed in dark clothes, and light felt hat, an Irishman. James Anderson, A. 8., 30 years old, 5 feet 6. inches high, medium build, light brown hair, large whiskers and moustache, dressed in monkey jacket, moleskin trousers, and felt hat, a Scotchman.
Deserted on the night of the 13th March, 1864, from the British barque Gazelle, lying in Dunedin Bay:— s Henderson, A. 8., 28 years old, short, thick set, full black whiskers and moustache. Dressed in white canvass jumper and dark trousers. V Sprott, A. 8., 24 years old, medium build,' sallow complexion, light brown hair, no hair , on face, dressed in dark suit. George Nightingale, boy, 16 years old, 5 feet 3 inches high, dark complexion and hair, full face, something the matter with one of his eyes, dressed in dark clothes. Captain Andrews of the above barque guarantees £5 reward for the apprehension of tne three.
