Stolen between the hours of 5 p.m. the 2nd and 8 a.m. the 3rd March, 1864, from the High School, Dunedin, a tool basket, containing the following carpenter’s tools 1 tenon saw, 1 trying plane, 1 pair of 5-Bth match planes, 1 mortice guage, 3 mortice chisels, and other tools, all stamped J. Campbell; the property of John Campbell, carpenter, of St. David-street, Dunedin.

Stolen sometime during the night of the sth of March, 1864, from a ffnce near the Manor Lodge, London-street, a large black silk velvet cloak with velvet collar, trimmed with black quilted silk, and lined with black silk, value £10; the property of Miss Carey, staying at Manor Lodge. It was put on the fence to air, and was forgotten to be taken in.

Stolen during the night of the 6th of March, 1864, from alongside the Henry and Edward schooner, lying at the New Jetty, Dunedin, a small dingey, about 11 feet long, painted lead colour inside and black outside, rowlocks for four paddles, and place cut in stern to scull her. Two paddles were also taken from the deck of the schooner; supposed taken for the purpose of going off to some vessel, and then turned adrift.

Stolen during the night of the 4th March, 1864, from outside the Otago Bank, Mansestreet, Dunedin, 1 hammer, 5 chisels, 1 punch, and 1 pitching tool, all marked W. T.; the property of William Tate, a mason.
