I regret to have to record ttoe deaths of two of our congregation— Mrs. Leaky, who was recently received into the Church, and passed away after a short Illness, arid of_ Mr. .R. O'Neill, who was about to take his family on ,a trip to^lreland, but about two hours- before the time of departure he was seized with illness, and — passed away on Friday morning. The interment takes place at Wanganui on- Monday.— R.l.P. -\~. A meeting of Catholic young men Was held recently in St. Patrick's Hall for the purpose of organising _ a football clufa. There were about , sixty present, -- the chair being occupied by Mr. J. W. McGrath. The Rev. Father Goggan was elected patron ; Mr. J. P. Kenny, president ; and vice-presidents were appointed. The management committee' consists of Messrs. M. Treston, J. Pearcey, .W. McCarthy, W. J. MeG-rath, and Rev. Bro. Virgdlius. .Mr. P.
