PROPERTY RECOVERED.
Auckland.— HENßY ERNEST JOHNSON’S petrol engine, &c., stolen .(.see. Police Gazette, 1938, page . 423) : Al/ the stolen property was recovered at a machinery exchange on the 24th March last, . having been exchanged for other property by a Man (name unknown) of the following description: Age about twenty-eight, height about 5 ft. 9 in., showman, medium build, dark-tanned complexion, dark-brown hair. He is said to. have a Hudson motor-caravan, and to be attending shows with a shooting gallery.
Auckland. CEClL JABEZ PAINE’S camera has been found, not stolen. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 337.)
Gisborne. ANN JOHNSON’S bicycle has been recovered, (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 286.) : '
