INQUIRIES, ETC., FROM OUTSIDE NEW ZEALAND.
Sydney (New South Wales). — A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Bartolomeo Bera, charged with conspiring to cheat and defraud Frank Lubrano of £1,758, between the 14th and 20th ultimo. Description : Age forty, height about 5 ft. 9 in., medium build and complexion, heavy fair moustache, may now be clean-shaved ; dressed in a brown sac suit and soft-felt hat; an Italian; speaks different languages. He is said to have a French and an American passport in his possession, and is believed to have come to New Zealand with the intention of going to America. Arrest desired. (P. 18/1334.)
