Mount Roskill. —On or about the 6th ultimo, JAMBS FULTON’S shop in Dominion Road was broken into, and the following articles stolen therefrom : Twelve to fourteen tins of beef and tongues, twelve tins of A B C jam, several tins of baking-powder, several bottles of coffee-essence, 1 lb. of butter, a 14 lb. ham, several tins of Havelock tobacco, and several packets of Three Castles cigarettes ; total value, about £B.

Auckland. —l6th ultimo, from a shop-doorway in Victoria Arcade, the property of GEORGE FOWLDS (LIMITED), three white soft shirts with brown stripes and two white soft shirts with blue stripes, sizes 15 and 16, with “ Excelsior, George Fowlds, shirt specialist, Auckland,” on tags; total value, 10s. Identifiable.

Auckland. —On or about the 15th March last TONY MILICICH’S shop at Silverdale was broken into, and the following property stolen therefrom : A cheque for £l4 16s Bd. on the National Bank of New Zealand, Auckland, No. B 571826, drawn in favour of E. Schott; four £1 notes ; a half-sovereign ; and 3s. in silver and copper money : total value, £l9 9s. Bd. Cheque only identifiable.

Ngaruawahia.— Between the 20th and 22nd ultimo, from a shed at the back of Perring’s boardinghouse, the property of GEORGE GARLAND, a stock saddle with high kneepads, solid-nickel stirrup-irons, English stirrup-leathers; and two Remuera dog-collars attached ; value, £5. Identifiable.

Johnsonville. —On the 26th ultimo the dwelling of ALICE LIDDLE at Tawa Flat was broken into, and a ladies’ gold hunting (supposed) Geneva watch (“ No. 767 ” on inside of back case, front case missing; value, £2 10s.) stolen therefrom. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to a Man (name unknown), age about thirty-five, height about 5 ft. Bin., medium build, fair oomplexion, brown hair; dressed in a brown suit and cap, and was carrying a swag ; foreign appearance.

Johnsonville.— On 26th ultimo the dwelling of DANIEL HERLIHEY at Porirua was broken into, and the following money stolen therefrom: Two £1 Bank of New Zealand notes, a half-sovereign, a two-shilling-piece, and two shillingpieces ; total value, £2 14s. Suspicion is attached to a Man (name unknown) referred to in preceding paragraph.

Wellington.—4th ultimo, from a bedroom at the NewZealander Hotel, the property of HERBERT KING, a brown-leather wallet, containing three £1 notes, and a gold very fine curb neck-chain, with a.gold heart locket, with half of front engraved, attached; total value, £5 10s. Identifiable except money.

Woolston. Between the 19th and 22nd ultimo a dwelling at 47 Regent Street was broken into, and the following property stolen therefrom: A ladies’ 9ct. gold ring, set with an amethyst; and a half-sovereign: total value, £l. Ring only identifiable; the property of MILLIE SMYTH. Also a half-sovereign, the property of ELSIE KRUSE. Suspicion is attached to a Woman (name unknown), age about twenty-nine, height about sft. 6in., medium build, fair bair and complexion ; dressed in a dark costume, grey coat, and black hat with pink flowers.

Timabu. —On or about the Ist April last, while in transit between the South Canterbury Mounted Rifles Hospital tent at Cave and Timaru, the property of AXEL NEWTON, a brass cornet, No. 19812, with “ Hawkes and Son,” maker, on it; value, £6. Identifiable.

Timabu. —22nd April last, from Stafford Street, the property of WILLIAM ALBERT WATSON, a gentlemen’s free-wheel Imperial Swift bicycle, No. 534835, blackenamelled with brown lines, outrigger handles with black grips, steel pedals ; value, £5. Identifiable.

Dunedin. —9th ultimo, from Stuart Street, the property of WILLIAM FINLAY HAMILTON, a gentlemen’s blackenamelled free-wheel Ensign bicycle, No. 32001, 22 in. frame, upturned bandies with leather grips, steel rims, pedals, and mud-guards, Eadie Coaster hub; value, £4. Identifiable.

Dunedin. —27th April last, from a bedroom at the Glasgow Restaurant, the property of DANIEL THOMAS, a gentlemen’s silver hunting Rotherhams lever watch, with D scratched on inside of back case (one hand broken), a silver watch-chain, similar to illustration No. 9 on page 1 of Police Gazette, 1911, with a metal watch-key attached ; total value, £4 10s. Identifiable.

St. Kilda.— On the 11th ultimo the dwelling of JOHN KEENAN at 14 Begg Street was broken into, and the following articles stolen therefrom: A gentlemen’s silver openface English lever watch, No. 33122, with “ Gilawhiske, England, makers,” on it, Roman figures, “Improved Patent Lever ” on dial, hinge of back case broken ; and a small American five-chamber revolver with black grip and nickel finish : total value, £4 10s. Identifiable.

Gore.— On or about 17th ultimo, from Waikaka, the property of JOHN BUSLERIDGE, a gentlemen’s blackenamelled free-wheel Enfield bicycle, down-turned handles, back-pedalling brake, Dunlop tires, with a dent on right side of fork ; value, £6. Identifiable.
