Auckland. — Walter Pell is charged on warrant with disobeying an order of Court to pay ss. a week for the support of each of his five children. Description : A native of Ireland, fifty-five years of age, 5 ft. 6 in. high, medium build, dark hair, walks lame, was seen about June last swagging it through Rotorua. On the 23rd ultimo he was in arrears the sum of £l9 13s.

Auckland. — David Prophet is charged on warrant with failing to provide for the maintenance of his wife and children. Description : Supposed colonial, carpenter, forty-four years of age, 5 ft. 6 in. high, stoutish build, dark hair, sandy moustache ; supposed dressed in black serge suit and black hard hat. He was recently employed by Messrs. Simmons, Spraggs, and Sintons, sawmillers, and may now be found on the gumfields. Photograph filed in the Inspector’s office, Auckland.

Clyde Quay (Wellington). George Edward Withers is charged on warrant with disobeying an order of Court to pay 15s. a week towards the support of his wife, Annie Withers. Description: Colonial, carpenter’s labourer, twenty-four years of age, 5 ft. 11 in. high, slight build, fair moustache only, one front tooth missing, scar on one of his wrists, has a very small foot and wears No. 5 boots ; has been shepherding in the King-country. On the 3rd instant there was £39 ss. due on the order.

Gore. — Robert Tuckey is charged on warrant with failing to provide for the maintenance of his illegitimate child. Description : A native of New Zealand, butcher, twenty-one years of age, about 5 ft. 6 in. high, rather stout build, short features, fair hair and complexion, even set of teeth, small light almost white moustache ; dressed in browntweed suit, black hard hat, white shirt and stand-up collar ; was wearing a silver watch and chain, had silver ring on left little finger. Is a native of Lawrence, and is supposed to have come to the North Island.
