Special Inquiry.
Special inquiry is requested for Richard Symes, an important witness for the defence in the case of John Frederick Lund, committed for trial at the Supreme Court, Blenheim, on the 7th March next, on a charge of theft from the person of one D. O’Connor. Symes is a seaman, thirtyfive years of age, 5 ft. 7 in. or 8 in. high, medium build, freckled face, sandy moustache; wore a brown-tweed coat, dungaree trousers, and soft blaok-felt hat. If traced, information to be sent to the Blenheim police as early as possible.
