(See Police Gazette, 1899, page 32.) Waipukurau. —Michael O’Riley’s gelding has been found at Takapau, where it was impounded, and suspicion is therefore removed from Tim Sullivan. (See Police Gazette, 1899, page 92.) Lincoln. — Stealing Henry Boyle’s mare, saddle, and bridle: The suspect, Bertie Albert Highstead, has been arrested for this offence by Detective G. Fitzgerald, Christchurch police, and returned to the Burnham Industrial School. Stolen property recovered.
