Deserters from Her Majesty’s Service.
From H.M.S. “ Ringdove," at Lyttelton. On 3rd May, 1899. Francis Angelo Cochrane, A. 8., a native of Middlesex, England, twenty-five years of age, 5 ft. 3 in. high, dark curly hair, brown eyes, dark complexion. A reward not exceeding £3 is offered by the naval authorities for his arrest, in addition to £5 from the Colonial Government.

William James Hotten, absentee from “Ringdove,” at Lyttelton: A further warrant has been issued for desertion. A reward of £3 in addition to £5 from the Colonial Government is oSered for his arrest.
From H.M.S. “ Karrakatta,” at Sydney. On sth April, 1899. Charles Edwin Glover, leading signalman, a native of Greenwich, London, twenty years of age, 5 ft. 8 in. high, light-brown hair, blue eyes, fresh complexion.
From H.M.S. “ Katoomba,” at Sydney. On 11th April, 1899. James Joseph Hughes, A. 8., a native of Liverpool, twenty-two years of age, 5 ft. 3 in. high, dark brown hair, blue eyes, fresh complexion, scar from burn on both buttocks. Walter Brothers, private, Royal Marine Light Infantry, a native of Herts, twenty-three years of age, 5 ft. in. high, red hair, hazel eyes, fresh complexion. From H.M.S. "Penguin," at Sydney. On 13th April, 1899. Charles Edward Nunnesley, stoker, born at Clapton, London, twenty-three years of age, 5 ft. sjin. high, brown hair, grey eyes, pale complexion. A reward not exceeding £3 is offered for the arrest within three years of each of the above men.
