Deserters from Her Majesty’s Service.
From H.M.S. “ Karrakatta,” at Cairns, Queensland. On 16th August, 1895.
Patrick Nolan, stoker, thirty-one years of age, born at St. Helens, Lancashire, sft. lOin. high, dark hair, grey eyes, fresh complexion, heart tattooed on back of left hand.
From H.M.S. “ Wallaroo,” at Townsville, Queensland. On 23rd August, 1895. Arthur Barter, stoker, twenty-six years of age, born at Emsworth, Hants, sft. s§in. high, dark-brown hair,blue eyes, fresh complexion. Frederick T. McGregor, stoker, second class, twenty years of age, born at Larkhall, Lanarkshire, sft. Gin. high, light hair, hazel eyes, fair complexion. James Nicol, stoker, second class, nineteen years of age, born at Sydney, New South Wales,,sft. Bin. high, brown hair, grey eyes, fresh complexion, heart pierced with sword tattooed on right forearm. A reward of £3 is offered for the arrest of each of these men.
