Rewards
Constable Albert Bennett, No. 386, Hokitika police, has been awarded £5 from the Reward Fund for his courageous action in jumping into the rivor and assisting to rescue three persons from drowning. (95/231.)
Constables F. Bishop, No. 632, and G. Wilson, No. 607, Wellington police, have been awarded £1 each for arresting absentees from H.M.S. “ Ringdove.” (95/187.) Constable P. J. Dunne, No. 127, Mongonui police, has been awarded £3 for obtaining a conviction against Mrs. Bergham for illegally selling liquor at Ahipara. (95/203.)
