Missing Friends.

Joseph Henry Borlase left his home at Sawyer’s Bay, Port Chalmers, on the 16th ultimo, and is inquired for by his father. Description : Thirteen and a half years of age, about sft. high, medium build, brown hair; wore a blue skull-cap, dark-tweed jacket with a hole at one elbow, new dark-tweed knickerbockers, black stockings, and lace-up boots. He was seen about 11 p.m. of the same date on the Dunedin Rail-way-platform, in company with another boy named John Campbell, alias McDonald, who is of bad character. They may seek employment at some farm.

William Henry Edwards : This missing friend left Home in the s.s. “ Arawa ” about the 22nd May, 1886, and was supposed to have landed at Wellington, but cannot now be traced there. Further inquiries are requested. (C.5.93/2004.)

Frederick Julcoskey, better known as Fred. Coskey, is inquired for through the Geraldine (Canterbury) Police. Description : A German, a labourer, twenty-eight years of age, about sft. 4in. high, stout build, fair complexion, round features, light-brown hair. He left his father’s home at Woodbury, near Geraldine, in 1889, and is said to have been seen on the St. Andrew’s railway-platform during August last.
