Christchurch. —Stealing Frederick Charles Hack’s mare, and George Murray Aynsley’s saddle and bridle: The suspect, James Morrigan, has been arrested for these offences by Constable Patrick Costin, Rangiora Police, and committed by the Christchurch Bench to St. Mary’s Industrial School, Nelson.
Pahiatua.— E. Wallis, Tutaekara, reports stolen during October last a black gelding, three years old, about 15 hands high, white star on forehead, hind legs white (more white on the off than the near one), unbranded; value, £l2.
