Patrick Donovan is inquired for by his brother, John, Police Sergeant, Auckland. Description : Irish, a stationhand, thirty-seven years of age, sft. llin. high, stout, fresh complexion, brown hair, full brown eyes; single. He arrived in the colony about twelve years ago, and, if alive, is supposed to be in the Marlborough or Canterbury District.

John Brazier is inquired for through the Otautau Police. Description : English, a coal-miner, thirty-eight years of age, sft. 7in. or Sin. high, stout build, fresh complexion, dark hair beard whiskers and moustache; generally wears a dark-tweed suit and soft black-felt hat. In June last he was fined for an assault at Invercargill, and left there soon after. It is rumoured that he went to Melbourne, but may bo still in this colony, and, if so, will no doubt be working in some coalmine. His whereabouts are requested in order to compel him to support his wife and children.

Renewed efforts are requested to trace this man, he being £SB 16s. in debt for the support of his daughter in St. Mary’s School, Nelson.

Carl Paget, five years of age, fresh complexion, fair hair, dressed in grey knickerbocker-suit, and red tam-o’-shanter cap, is missing from Moeraki Port, Otago, since the 12th instant.

land, an artist, twenty-six years of age, sft. 7in. high, stout build, florid complexion (very much freckled), auburn hair, blue eyes, fair moustache, otherwise clean-shaved, woman tattooed on left arm, married. He left Napier on the 30th May last in the barque “ Rio ” for Newcastle, went on to Sydney, and from there to Toowoomba, Queensland, where he was heard of about three months ago.
