Stolen between the 13th and 15th ultimo, from the Jewish Cemetery, Symond Street, Auckland, a wooden pailing grave-fence, about 6ft. by 2ft. 6in. by 3ft., value £3, the property of Mrs. A. Keesing. Identification doubtful. Suspicion attached to two boys named Donnelly living in the locality.

James Thomson is charged with having, at Lyttelton, during the night of the 22nd ultimo, stolen from the ship / “ Hinemoa ” an oilskin suit, value £1 (since recovered), the /I property of Henry De Frates, second mate. Description: A Canadian, thirty-six years of age, sft. Tin. high, stout build, fair complexion, fair moustache only, dressed in tweed suit and light billycock hat. Offender was boatswain of the vessel, and deserted during the night. The were found in his bag on board the schooner “ Annie Wilson.”

Stolen between the 7th and 15th May last, from the run of John Smith, Awakino, near Kurow, North Otago, five bundles, each containing ten iron fencing-standards, 3ft. llin. long, notched at top, and punched for wires; value 18s. Identifiable.
