Colonial Secretary’s Office, Wellington, 12th February, 1889. HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Sergeant-Major David Ramsay to be an Inspector of Weights and Measures, under “ The Weights and Measures Act, 1868,” for the Counties of Southland, Wallace, Fiord, and Stewart Island, and for all boroughs therein, vice Constable Wright. T. W. lIISLOP.
Land temporarily reserved. THE following land has been temporarily reserved from sale and set apart for police purposes
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Otago, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section No. 3, Block XII., Township of Kurow. Bounded on the north by Section No. 2 of same block, 200 links; on the east by Main Street, 125 links; on the south by Section
No. 4 of same block, 200 links ; and on the west by Section No. 1 of same block, 125 links : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Dunedin.
Cleric of Licensing Committee appointed.
