Horse- and Cattle-Stealing.

Supposed stolen on the 26th or 27th ultimo, at Waitetuna, near Raglan, a four-tooth long-wool sheep; the property of William Parsons Cogswell; value 10s. It is supposed that the sheep was killed and the carcase carried away.

Description: English, a watchmaker, about twenty-eight years of age, sft. 6Jin. high, stout build, fair complexion, fair hair, very little if any hair on face except moustache ; wore dark clothes. He went towards Wangaioa. He travels through the country districts repairing clocks and watches.
