Deserters from Her Majesty’s Service.

(See Police Gazette, 1882, page 18.) A Villi am Iyustwell, charged with deserting from Her Majesty’s ship “ Lark,” has been arrested by the New South Wales Police.

James Coneboy and Robert J. Famariss are charged with deserting from Her Majesty’s ship “Espicgle,” at Auckland, on the 2nd ultimo. Description : Coneboy is a native of Staffordshire, England, an able seaman, nineteen years of age, 5 feet 44 inches high, sallow complexion, brown eyes, dark-brown hair, rose tattooed on left arm and flowers on breast. Famariss is a native of Kent, England, an able seaman, twenty years of age, 5 feet 2 inches high, fair complexion, grey eyes, light hair, tattooed on both wrists. A reward of £3 each is offered for their arrest, in addition to £5 reward offered by the Colonial Government.

William Conolly and Frank Smith Phillips are charged with deserting from Her Majesty’s shiji “ Lark,” at Auckland, on the 9th ultimo. Description: Conolly is a native of Auckland, twenty-two years of age, 5 feet 4| inches high, fair complexion, grey eyes, and light-brown hair. Phillips is a native of Salisbury, England, a ward-room servant, twenty-one years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, dark complexion, grey eyes, and dark-brown hair. A reward of £3 each is offered for their arrest, in addition to £5 offered by the Colonial Government.

Frederick Montague is charged with deserting from Her Majesty’s ship “ Espicgle,” at Lyttelton, between the 11th and 13th instant. Description : English, a stoker, twentyeight years of age, 5 feet 8 inches high, medium build, sallow complexion, grey eyes, dark hair heard whiskers and moustache. A reward of £3 is offered for his arrest, in addition to £5 reward offered by the Colonial Government.
