Charles S. McGregor, charged on warrant with the larceny as a bailee of £BO, the property of John Coulam : It is believed that this offender was married at Saint Andrew’s Manse, Christchurch, on the 27th ultimo to Eliza Jehkinson, of Port Molyneux.

Stolen on the sth or 6th instant, from on board the cutter “ Hero,” at Waterloo Quay, Wellington, a pair of blue blankets about 6 feet by 51 feet, considerably worn, two black stripes in centre, ends hemmed with red worsted partly ripped, a small tear near centre of one, value 10s.; a doublebreasted white-flannel singlet, home-made, value 6s. ; and a very old red-white-and-blue Crimean shirt, sleeves cut off at elbows, value Is. 6d.; the property of John Campbell. Identifiable. Suspicion attached to a man known as Cockney, English, about twenty-seven years of age, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, medium build, clean-shaved except small brown moustache. He is said to be employed as a coaltrimmer on the steamer “ Takapuna.”

Stolen on the 26tb ultimo, at Kereta, near Coromandel, a small saddle, nearly new, near knee-pad slightly broken, a hole in off-side of facing; the property of James Wilson. Identifiable.

Stolen on the 31st ultimo or Ist instant, from the verandah of the house of P. H. Foote, Hardy Street, Nelson, a square wire bird-cage with sloped top, containing a yellow canary, the nail of one of the claws turned upwards; value £1 10s. Identifiable.

Stolen on the 30th ultimo, at Christchurch, an English fox-terrier dog, about eighteen months old, white with a black spot on rump just over root of tail, very short tail carried erect, a bluish-black spot on left ear, ears not cropped, answers to the name of “ Turk,” very friendly and alert in his movements; the property of Henry Cook Lanauze. Identifiable.

Stolen on the 9th or 10th instant, from a shed at St. Andrew Street, Dunedin, an English pigskin saddle, left knee-pad and pommel repaired, round stirrup-irons and leather girth; the property of Albert Dornwell; value £2. Identifiable.

Stolen on the 2nd or 3rd instant, from the railway platform at the Bluff or Invercargill, a cooked pork ham., value 10s.; a box containing five or six dozen lemonade bottles, value about 165.; and a tomahawk with claw, the property of Robert Riordan, value 3s. 6d. Tomahawk identifiable.

Stolen on the 10th or 11th instant, from the clothes-line of Joseph Samuel, Serpentine Avenue, Dunedin, a pair of dark-yellow tweed trousers and two towels; value 15s. Trousers identifiable.

Stolen on the 27th or 28th ultimo, from the Queen’s Wharf, Auckland, seven bags of maize ; the property of George S. Gommell; value £4 10s.

Stolen on the 30th or 31st ultimo, from the stable of W. L. Mitchell, Mount Albert, near Auckland, a new English hogskin saddle, silver-plated stirrup-irons, and a now brownfelt saddlecloth trimmed with brown leather ; value £8 Bs. Identifiable.

Stolen on the 22nd or 23rd ultimo, from the yard of Duncan Robertson, at Maketu, Auckland, an 18-gallon cask of beer, one end painted blue, and marked “ Wrigley If Tauranga,” with white paint; value £4 4s. Identifiable. Maoris suspected. The cask has since been found nearly empty concealed in a clump of briars near the hotel.

Stolen between the 22nd and 24tli ultimo, from the workshop of Frederick Bloomfield, Upper Queen Street, Auckland, two pictures of Now Zealand scenery, 14 by 12 inches, gilt moulding frames, value £2 ; and a glazier’s diamond, value £l. Identifiable.
