Deserters from Merchant Vessels.

William Walsh is charged with deserting from the ship “ Taranaki,” at Port Chalmers, during the night of the 12th

instant. Description : Irislx, a seaman, nineteen years of age, 5 feet 4 inches high, rather stout build, dark complexion, brown hair, no hair on face, squints slightly with one of eyes. A reward of £2 is offered for his arrest if effected on or before the 4th proximo.
