Missing Friends.
INFORMATION is requested respecting Prank Kikke, a shipsteward and seaman, about forty-five years of age, slight build, bronzed complexion, blue eyes, fair hair. He arrived at Lyttelton about two years and a half ago by the “ City of Tanjore,” in which he was steward. He left the vessel at Lyttelton, and joined a coal barque trading between there and. Newcastle. Inquiry is made for him at the request of his son. (See Police Gazette, 18S2, page 84, and 1883, page 48.) Richard Burrows or Burriss has been found at Dunedin. He left Port Chalmers on the 14th ultimo by the ship “ Wellington ” for London.
Information is requested respecting William Gourlay, who left Melbourne in 1863 for this colony, with the intention of serving in the colonial military force during the Maori war. No information concerning him can be obtained in the Constabulary or Defence Offices. Inquiry is made for him at the request of Robert. T. Gourlay, care of Messrs. Collins Brothers and Co., 45, Post Office Place, Melbourne.
Information is requested respecting Ildovaldo Primavesi, an Italian merchant, fitly years of age, middle height, said to be of fair complexion, who came to this colony in 1850. Inquiry is made for him at the request of Charles J. Johnston, Esq., Italian Consular Agent, Wellington.
Information is requested respecting Francis McGorman, formerly of Drum, County of Monaghan, Ireland, about fiftylive or fifty-six years of age, about 5 feet 10-i inches high, black hair and whiskers, which may now* bo grey. He left London on the 29th June, 1850, by the ship “Nile.” and was heard of at Hobart in 1855, when he was about leaving there. He may have assumed the name of Gorman or O’Gorman. Inquiry is made for him at the instance of his brother, William McGorman, late 49th Regiment, Bridge Street, Cootehill, County Cavan, Ireland.
