Deserters from Her Majesty’s Service.
John McFarlane and David Gurney, are charged with deserting from Her Majesty’s ship “ Wolverene,” at Sydney, on the 18th ultimo. Description: McFarlane is a native of Ireland, an ordinary seaman second-class, twenty-two years of age, 5 feet 3£ inches high, brown hair, grey eyes, fresh complexion, wound on right thumb. Gurney is English, an ordinary seaman, twenty years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, brown hair, grey eyes, pale complexion, sailor, anchors, &c., on right forearm, ship, sailor, and cross flags on left forearm. A reward of £3 each is offered for their arrest.
