Horse and Cattle Stealing.

Stolen between the Ist June last and the 3rd ultimo, at "Waihenga, five sheep; the property of Lawrence Tullock ; value £3.

Supposed stolen on 6th instant, from Wanganui, a thoroughbred bay mare, 7 years old, about 15£ hands high, white face, one of hind fetlocks white, back sinews sprung, a racing-plate on one of hoofs, short tail, unbranded, heavy in foal, value £SO; a thorough-bred bay colt, rising two years old, uncut, white streak down face, smallest between eyes, one of fetlocks white, uubranded, value £250; and a thorough-bred chestnut colt, nine months old, star on forehead, three white fetlocks, in rather poor condition, value £25 ; the property of Samuel Wilson. Identifiable. The horses were seen on the evening of the 6th instant at Maxwell, in front of a mob of cattle, which was being driven by George Lynch to Mr. Lumpton’s, at Waverley.

Supposed stolen during the night of the 10th instant, from a paddock at Blueskin Read, a bay mare, aged, 15 hands high, branded TC on off shoulder, small star on forehead, shod ; the property of John Buchhols. Identifiable.
