Horse and Cattle Stealing.
(See Police Gazette, ISBI, page 92.) The filly, the property of Captain J. Francis, reported stolen from Kaipara Heads, lias been found on the gumfields near Tekopuru.
Supposed stolen about the end of February last, from Hyde, a light draught dark-chestnut filly, two years old, hind fetlocks white, small star on forehead, unbranded ; the property of Roger Gill; value £B. Identifiable.
Stolen between the 14t.h and 19th ultimo, from Cambridge, a strawberry cow, branded WM and diamond, supposed on off shoulder; the property of William Ring ; value £lO. Identifiable.
(See Police Gazette, 1881, page 81.) The dark-brown mare and foal, tbe property of Alexander Allan, supposed stolen from Waimate, have been recovered.
