Missing Friends.
Information is requested respecting the whereabouts of James Beaton, a native of Greenock, Scotland, a contractors’ timekeeper, about thirty-two years of age, about 5 feet 6 inches
high, medium build, dark complexion, full dark beard and whiskers ; well educated, but of intemperate habits. He has been employed on railway contracts at Wanganui, Te Ante, and Oamaru, and was at Wellinglon in February last. Inquiry is made for him at the instance of his sister, Miss Kate Beaton, at Madame Kapferers, 6, Rue du Louvre, Paris, through the Chief Postmaster, Wellington.
