Brunskill, Featherston Police, in recognition of his services in connection with the prosecution of Sidney H. Wickerson, custodian of the Working Men’s Club, Greytown, fined £2O and costs for sly grog-selling.

It was the Cromwell Quartz-Mining Company's fluming that was maliciously damaged, and not the Bendigo Q.uartz-Mining
Company’s, as previously reported. A reward of £25 is offered for such information as will lead to the conviction of the person or persons who committed the damage.
Between 1 and 2 o’clock on the morning of the 18th instant two panes of glass, value £lO, were maliciously broken in the shop- door and window of George Hooper’s jeweller’s shop Cashel Street, Christchurch.
