Thomas Kaine is charged with deserting, on the 13th instant, from the steamer “ Wellington,” at Wellington. Description : A native of the colony, an apprentice seaman, fourteen years of age, 4 feet 6 inches high, stout build, light hair, fair complexion, smooth face ; wore a coloured-cotton shirt and moleskin trousers. He had been in the Naval Training School at Auckland.

Patrick O’Brien and Harold O’Shepherd are charged with deserting from the ship “May Queen,” at Auckland, on the 6tli instant. Description : O’Brien is a native of the colony, nineteen years of age, 5 feet 4 inches high, fair hair, whiskers
