On the night of the 28th ultimo, Henry Richardson left Cromwell for his home at Bannockburn, and has not since been heard of. Description : English, a miner, forty years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, medium build, black hair, beard, whiskers, and moustache, worn long ; dressed in black-tweed suit and soft black-felt hat.

He worked at Little Omaha for a farmer named Young, who paid his passage by the “Annie Melbank ” to Auckland on the 13th November last. Inquiry is made for him at the request of his sister, Mrs. * Elizabeth Beasley, Princes Street, Auckland.

Information is requested respecting the whereabouts of Richard James Owen, a native of England, arrived in the colony when very young, nineteen years of age, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, smart appearance, sallow complexion, blue eyes, dark-brown hair, small moustache; wore dark or drab 6uit, light-coloured soft-felt hat, old silver geneva watch, and heavy steel chain ; when walking works his hip peculiarly. He served three years as an apprentice to tho painting trade with Mr. D. Dakins, at Auckland, and is likely to be now employed as an improver or journeyman painter.
