The meeting was concluded on Saturday in fine weather, another large attendance being in evidence. The track was in excellent order, and the racing of a most interesting nature. The totalisator staff handled £31,583, as against £24,399 10s. for the second day of the corresponding meeting last year, making a total of £58,875 for the two days, as compared with £47,672 for 1918. . „ x , Jeannot was elected favourite for the Owhiro Hurdles, with Calma and Vascular next best supported. Calma was responsible for the pace for the greater part of the race, but Euripos easily held the Calibre mare safe once the straight was entered, and scored a comfortable victory by three lengths, Vascular being a moderate third. Link Up led into the straight, but had no chance with the favourite, who won very easily by three lengths, Steepholm being third. Ten started in the Flying Handicap, in which the favourite division were badly routed. Kilbrogan was the elect of backers, with Trentham Rose, Daytime and Rokelaine all well supported.
