MARTON JOCKEY CLUB’S SPRING MEETING.
This meeting is to take place on Wednesday next, and being the first if the spring meetings to be held in the Wanganui metropolitan area, following the Egmont-Wanganui Hunt Steeplechase meeting, is creating a good deal of interest. The acceptances are due to-day, and there is likely to be a good response from owners. The Auckland horses El Gallo (who is engaged in the chief race, the Marton Handicap). Glissando and Toreador are to make the trip.
