A few- young ladies arranged a small impromptu dance for Thursday evening in the Parish Hall. Airs. Flower wore a pretty frock of creme, pinapple fibre, the corsage trimmed with oriental trimming ; Mrs. Clifford Dawson, a dainty little dress of palest pink with silk laee tunic; Mrs Dignan, vieux rose; Aliss Lundon, black velvet, scarlet band in hair; Miss Al. Lundon, creme dress with dainty laee and net tiehu ; Miss Evans (New Plymouth), black. laee berthe and pink rose ; Aliss Bates, white satin ; Aliss McCarron, white ; Alisa Auld, creme silk ; Aliss Empson; Aliss Collett, black satin, crimson flowers on corsage ; Miss Pascoe, sweet pale pink frock ; Messrs Curtis, Hower, Dignan, Ross, Donnelly, Holland, Agic, Melville, Paterson (Auckland), Dingle, Sumner, Pascoe, Holmes (Wellington), Baton, J. Brown and Dr. Scott.
