TAURANGA.
October 12. Bereavement. The news of the death of the Rev. Canon Jordan, which occurred at the Vicarage last Saturday afternoon has east quite a gloom over our town, and all social functions have been postponed. For 40 years Canon Jordan has had charge of Holy Trinity Church, and was much loved and respected by all who knew him. The deepest sympathy is felt for Airs Jordan and family.
