October 12. Handkerchief Party. Airs Fuller gave a handkerchief partyon Wednesday afternoon for Aliss Alice Reed, who is to be married early next month. The drawing room was decorated with arum lilies and white and mauve irises, and the tea-table in the diningroom most, tastefully done with flowers in shades of mauve. Aliss Dumerasq (Tasmania) won the first prize for the competition, Miss W. Watson coming second.
