Musical Evening. On Wednesday Madame Briggs gave an enjoyable musical evening at her residence, Victoria Avenue. Amongst those present were Mrs. James Watt, Mrs. Symes, Mr. and Mrs. Izard, Mrs. ).*. Krull, Mrs. H. F. Christie, Miss G. Christie, Mr. Neaine, Miss Neaine, Mrs. Lethbridge, Miss. Lethbridge, Mr. R. Stevenson, Mrs. John Stevenson, Mr. Sutherland, Miss Sutherland, Mi,ss J. Sutherland, Mr Chambers, and others. Kinking. The Skating Rink in the Druids’ Hall is still well patronised. Amongst those I have noticed recently Miss Parsons, Miss Darley, Miss Brettargli, Miss Jones, Miss Kerr, Miss Ida Stevenson, Miss W. Bayley, Miss Bringezer, Miss Morton Jones, Miss Anderson, Messrs. Turnbull, Reid, Hawke, Bruce, Brettargli, Stevenson, Chamberlain, and others. Personal. Mrs. Lionel Chamberlain, of Taihape, is staying in Wanganui with Mrs. Chamberlain. Mrs. France, of. Nelson, is the guest Of her mother, Airs. Ilawken, Wanganui. Mrs. Miles, of Feilding, has been staying in Wanganui with relations recently. Mrs. Roehfort, of KJthani, is the guest of her. mother, Mrs. A. Lewis, in Wanganui. , Mrs. A. Izard, of Wanganui, has returned from her visit to friends in Christchurch. Mrs. Mackay, of Wanganui, is spending some weeks in Auckland. Mrs. Young, of Stratford, is staying in Wanganui with her mother, Mrs. Duncan, .Miss W. Bayly is staying in Stratford, with relations. Mrs. Goodson, of Hawera, has been staying in Wanganui recently. Mrs. Stevenson, of Wanganui, has returned from her visit to Taihape. Mr. and Mrs. Nairn, of Hawke’s Bay, have been in Wanganui for a short visit. Mrs. E. Cowper and her two little daughters, of Wanganui, have returned from their visit to friends in Wellington and Hawke’s Bay. Miss H. Anderson, of Wanganui, has beedi staying with friends in Feilding. Miss D. Christie, of Wanganui, has returned from her visit to Rangitikei.
