GISBORNE.
, February 2r. Air. J. Henderson, Gisborne, of the New Zealand Old Fields, Ltd., left for. London last week on business. Aliss Nelson, Wellington, who has been, staying with her aunt, Mrs. WiUoek, Kaiti, left for her home last Sunday. Mrs. C. Gray, Gisborne, is staying ill Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gray, and Misses Essie and Lucy Gray, have left for England. Mr. J. A. McDonald, of Adelaide, the newly-appointed engineer and secretary to the Gisborne Harbour Board, arrived last week. A nasty accident befell Miss Helen' Busby, Tokomaru Bay. While riding she was thrown from her horse, the fall resulting in concussion of the brain. Miss Busby’s friends will be pleased to hear that she is on the way to recovery.
