November ro. ” The Man from Cook's.'’ Last week we had a visit from the Fred. Graham Comedy Company, when they gave "The Man from Cook's" in the Town Hall tc a crowded house. Amongst the audience I noticed: Mrs. E. J. Wilkinson. white embroidered muslin gown; Mrs. McDermott, black chiffon taffeta with creme laee vest and white scarf; Miss E. Dickenson, white muslin froek and crimson coat, trimmed with sequin trimming; Mrs. Fantail, black silk gown with creme laee vest; Mrs. Nieoll, creme net blouse, trimmed with pale blue, and blaek silk skirt: Miss Hill, pale pink muslin; Miss J. Brown, white silk blouse, blaek skirt; Miss Wells, blaek chiffon taffeta: Miss Beale, white muslin and white cloak, trimmed with pale blue: Miss H. Wells, blaek chiffon taffeta: Miss Gwynneth, heliotrope silk blouse, black skirt; Mrs. Richardson, black silk with Maltese lace collar; Miss Richardson, white embroidered muslin. Personal. Mrs. Brooks has returned to Cambridge from her visit to Auckland. Mrs. W. K. C. Walker is home again from Wanganui, where she has been visiting her mother (Mrs. Ross). Mrs. E. E. Roberts has returned from Auckland, where she has been staving with Mrs. A. B. Herrold. of Remuera, ami Mrs. J. C. Mackay, of Devonport.
