November 11. A Dance. » A most successful and enjoyable dance was held in St. Patrick’s Hall on Friday evening, when there were about CO young people present. Bowling. On Saturday afternoon quite a number assembled at the Blenheim bowling green, there being visiting teams from Wellington and Nelson present. The lady friends of the bowlers provided a. dainty tea, which was much appreciated by all. Some of those present were: Mesdames R. McCallum, C. Mills, Northcroft, Strachan, Carey, Adams (Langley Dale), R. Adams, R. Bell, W. Bell, Purser (Wanganui), Morton (Feilding), Marsh, Misses Scott Smith, H. McCallum, A. Neville, Anderson, E. Bell, E. Bull, Purser (Wanganui), Fulton, Messis. McCallum, C. Mills, Neville, R. Bell, Strachan, Northcroft, Broughton, Baigent (Nelson). Marsh, King (Nelson), Mansford (Nelson), Wastney (Nelson), Scott Smith, Churchward, and Dr. Pentrea.th. Personal. Mrs. W. Adams, “ Langley Dale,” is the guest of Dr. and Mrs. Adams in Maxwell-road. Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Burden are visiting friends in Nelson. Mr. A. Bell, ‘-Riverlands,” is visiting Christchurch. Air. and Mrs. G. Wastney (Nelson) are visiting friends in Marlborough. Miss Ivy Ewart has returned from a holiday to Nelson. Miss Perrot (Renwick) has been spending jubilee w’eek with Miss Newton, Maxwell-road. Mr. E. W. Moore, “Parikawa,” is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Redwood at 'Spring Creek. Mrs. Baigent (Nelson) and Mr. C. Baigent (Dunedin), who have been staying with Mr. and Mrs. D. Strachan, “Cowley,” have returned to Nelson. Mrs. A. Mowat is on a visit to the Empire City. Miss Rene Horton is on a visit to Wellington.
