September 3. Advertisement Party. At Mrs. Louieson’s advertisement party on last Wednesday night, Miss Dora Reed won the ladies’ prize and Mr. Scott the gentlemen’s. The drawing-room was most spring-like, with a profusion of daffodils, violets and primroses, and the supper-table looked lovely with a pretty arrangement of plum .blossom. The guests present included Miss Gladys Mawhinney, Miss Kiesling, Miss Margaret Waldegrave, Miss Dorothy Waldegrave, Miss Trixie Waldegrave, Miss F. Randolph, Miss Gemmel, Miss Wilson, Miss K. The Theatre. The “Jack and Jill” pantomime attracted huge audiences at the Opera House during its short season at the beginning of the week. Amongst others present were: Mrs R. S.
