FEILDING.
August 13. Bridge Party. Mrs Sydney Fitzherbert gave a small ladies’ afternoon bridge party on Wednesday, 11th August. Mrs Fitzherbert received her guests in a dark green dress; Mrs McAUum, saxe blue cloth coat and skirt, with pretty blue toque to match; Mas Miles, brown coat and skirt, brown hat with autumn leaves; Mrs Halliday, cream cloth coat and skirt, black hat with feathers; Mrs Mackay, black dress, black hat; Mrs Mostyn Jones, blue coat and skirt, black hat; Mrs Gillespie, dark blue coat and skirt, braided with black, black hat; Mrs Wall (Kairangi), blue coat and skirt, brown hat with peach
coloured silk; Mrs Glasgow, brown Empire dress, with brown hat to match; Miss Malfroy, white silk blouse, black skirt, hat with flowers. Juvenile Dance. There is great excitement among the young people of Feilding, as invitations for a fancy dress dance have been issued by Miss Joan Glasgow for the Bth September. I hope to give you a fuller account of it in another issue. Personal. Mrs and Miss G. Innes Jones have been the guests of Mrs W. F. Jacob, of Kiwitea, for the last ten days. Mrs Wall (Kairangi) is staying with her sister, Mrs Gillespie. TUI.
