Dear Bee, April IT. On Saturday there was a large number present at THE CROQUET COURT. Afternoon tea was provided by Mrs. F. H. Christie, Mrs. McNaughton, Christie, andl Mrs. R. Jackson: During the afternoon the prizes for Mrs. Moore’s and Miss Imlay’s tournaments were presented to the winners. Mr. Gordon made an appropriate little speech and Mrs. Moore presented the prizes. Mrs. Palmer, of Wanganui, has returned from her visit to Wellington. Mrs. Phillips, of The Point, Canterbury, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Barnieoat, in Wanganui, i Mrs. and Miss BlundeJl, of Nelson, are visiting friends in Wanganui. Miss Gould, of Auckland, is staying in Wanganui with her sister, Mrs; D’Arcy. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Robertson, of Wellington, have been staying ,in Wanganui. Miss Young, of Dannevirke, who has been staying in Wanganui, has returned to Hawke’s Bay. Mrs. Roehfort, of Eltham, who has been staying in Wanganui with Mrs. A. Lewis," has returned to her home. Mr. Cock, of Wanganui, is spending Easter in Nelson. Mr. and Mrs. Good, of lyanganui, are in New Plymouth for the golf tournament. Mrs. H.
