Dear Bee, April 18th. The weather was delightful on the second day of THE RACES, and the attendance a great improvement. There were more ladies preseiit than on the first bleak day, and all had donned their best. Mr. and Mrs. Reuell. Palmerston, are spending the Easter holidays with Mrs 11. Bayley, St. John's Hill. Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. I). Reed. Palmerston, have gone on a holiday trip to Dunedin. Miss Mitchell. Auckland, is the guest of Mrs. Eliot, Palmerston. Mrs. C. Powell, Wanganui, is spending the holidays with Mrs. McKnight, Palmerston.
