NAPIER.

Dear Bee, Nov. 22. Saturday last turned out a most beautiful day for the opening of THE SAILING CLUB, and with a lovely cool breeze nothing more could have been desired. Quite a large number of people came down to the Club's grounds at West Shore, and the Club gave a delicious afternoon tea. The visitors were well looked after, and launches and sailing boats took them for (trips round the Inner Harbour. Amongst those present 1 noticed Mrs. Vigor Brown 2wearing a holland skirt and coat with burnt straw hat; Mrs. Cornford, navy blue skirt with black hat; Mrs. Rodie, navy blue costume, white boating hat; Mrs. Morgan, white and blue print frock, straw hat with red roses; Mrs. Cornford, neat blue and white striped dress, white hat with large black glace bow; Miss E. Bendail, white linen blouse and Skirt, pretty green hat with green scarf; Miss S. Dinwiddie, heliotrope print dress (With white sun hat; Mrs. Humphries, navy blue coat and skirt, green hat with (pink roses; Mrs. Tomlinson, pretty pihk linen 1 pinafore dress- with white luce pleevos and yoke; Miss E.
