Welcome to Miss Ewart
When Miss Ewart (ex-Matron of the Southland Hospital) visited Invercargill recently, Miss Ross (the present Matron) arranged a re-union of nurses and ex-nurses trained by Miss Ewart.
The gathering took place at the Nurses' Home m the Matron's sitting-room, which was tastefully decorated with beau-
tiful carnations and foliage.
About thirty nurses were present, and one and all were delighted to meet their much-loved Matron again. A very pleasant afternoon was spent reviving old memories and hearing Miss Ewart's interesting account of her trip to the Homeland and Continent.
