Inquests.
An inquest was held at Leithfield, on the 10th April, 1874, before Matthew Morris, Esq., Coroner, upon the body of Gleorge Fortescue Lock, aged 38 years, who shot himself at Saltwater Creek, on the evening of the Bth April, 1874. The jury, after hearing the evidence, returned a verdict of —“ Suicide while in a state of temporary insanity.
An inquest was held at Arowhenua, on the 17th April, 1874, before B. Woollcombe, Esq., Coroner, upon the body of Sarah Morris, aged 5 years. A post mortem examination was made by Dr. Rayner, who stated that deceased died from inflammation of the lungs. The jury returned a verdict in accordance with the evidence.
