Eeverting to Criminal Offences, dated Christchurch, October 7, 1872, part of the bagatelle balls therein described have been found in a shrubbery in Manchester Street by a boy named Bennetts. It is now surmised they were taken out of spite and thrown away. Eeverting to Criminal Offences, dated Timaru, October 10, 1872, offender Joseph Eoberts has been arrested by SergeantMajor Barsham, Lyttelton District, and stands committed for trial.
