Progress: Buildings almost completed. As property was badly twitch-infested at possession date, it will be some three or four years before it can be disposed •of on fixed charges. Progress : Development completed. Four exservicemen settled August, 1949. Spring Greek, at Methven, 337 acres. Acquired: December, 1946. Objective : Two sheep and cropping units for settlement August, 1948, and 205 acres to be amalgamated with an adjoining property held by an ex-serviceman. Development Programme : About 200 chains of fencing to be erected, dwelling, barn-implement shed, renovations to existing dwelling, six dams to be excavated, boundary fencing . Development Programme: Considerable drainage, regrassing of drained area, about 80 chains of fencing, 140 chains reconstruction existing fences, shelter-belt, cow-shed, yards and piggery, combined shed to be reconstructed, water-supply.
