No. 132.—Petition of Ngohi Ngatai and 211 Others, of the King Country. Praying that the entry of alcohol into the King Country be prohibited, or, alternatively, that a referendum be taken of all the Maori people in that locality as to whether licenses should be granted or not. I am directed to report that, the member presenting the petition having expressed a wish to withdraw the same, the Committee recommends that the petition be allowed to be withdrawn. 25th September, 1934.
