SCHEDULE. Regulation No. 38 is hereby revoked, and the following regulation inserted in lieu thereof: — " 38. Except to tradesmen under award rates, overtime to non-permanent officers is not to exceed Is. 6d. per hour on week-days or 2s. per hour on Sundays and departmental holidays." AMENDMENTS TO THE REGULATIONS -MADE BY THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSIONER FOR THE EXAMINATION OF DRAUGHTSMEN, LANDS AND SURVEY DEPARTMENT. * l\ pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred on him by the Public Service Act, 1912 (hereinafter called " the said Act "), the Commissioner, with the approval of the Governor in Council, doth hereby, in respect of the regulations relating to the examination of draughtsmen for a certificate of competency made under the said Act on the twenty-fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the ninth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, make the amendments shown in the Schedule hereto. Such amendments shall have effect from and after the date of publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette. •

SCHEDULE. Regulation No. 4 is hereby amended by adding the words " (H.) Projection of maps. Maximum marks, 30." Regulation No. (i is amended by adding the sentence, " Each candidate that passes in all of the subjects at one examination and in addition obtains at least 70 per cent, of the total possible maximum of marks in the subject ' (H.) Projection of maps,' shall be entitled to have his certificate of competency endorsed ' Passed also in map-projection.'
