Tour Committee, assuming that it would be advantageous, that the Library formed by the Provincial Council of Auckland, should be joined to that of the General Assembly, placed themselves in communication with the members of that body, through their Speaker, and have the satisfaction of informing the House, that they have consented to unite their Library to that proposed to be formed by the General Assembly, and to provide an equal annual vote for the purpose of adding to the books, and at their own expense to provide fittings, &c., and pay the salary of the Librarian. Your Committee, recommend that His Excellency be requested to place the sum of £100 upon the estimates for the purchase of Books &c., during the current year.
